*NEW* Totem Animal Workshop Set For September 4
Last week we hosted a Coffee Talk with the topic of Totem Animals, and tried a few Native American meditations to connect with our animal spirits. It was very interesting, and everyone expressed a desire to do a larger workshop. Even though this coming weekend is Labor Day Weekend, we received lots of feedback from people who would like the workshop to be held, so we've set it for Saturday at 6pm at our Research Center in Orange. Registration is required in advance, and the workshop is $10.00 (or $8.00 for members) and will include handouts as well as a Totem Animal meditation CD created by our group! To register, or for more information, feel free to contact me.

We're happy to host our first Movie Night at our new Research Center. Come join us as we screen Steven Spielberg's fantastic UFO film, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." This is one of the few movies that portray ET contact in a positive light. No alien invasion, kill-all-humans, destroy the Earth scenario. Close Encounters brings to light some great questions about ET contact. This films is also great for kids of all ages! Snacks and drinks will be available for a small donation, and pre-registration is not required, so come by and join us. Doors open at 7pm, film starts promptly at 7:30pm. Please feel free to contact us for more details.
In a recent poll of our members we found a large number of people who would like to take part in a regular meditation, healing, or energy work event, but were unsure of where to go. After talking with some of those experts we network with, we're happy to announce that starting on Friday, September 3, we will host a weekly "Energy Circle." Our circle will explore different aspects of energy work, including group and personal meditation, Reiki and healing energy, guided journeys, intuition exercises, grounding and earth-work, and more. This circle is open to anyone ages 12 and up, and will take place at our Research Center in Orange. Most times we hope to conduct the circle outdoors to get intune with nature and the surroundings, but in the event of bad or cold weather, the circle will move indoors. There is no charge for participation in the circle, and it is a "drop in" event, meaning registration is not required. There is also no charge for participation (donations are appreciated). Each circle meeting will include an energy session followed by an open discussion. Suggestions for types of energy work are welcome, and for information we invite you to contact us anytime. Energy Circle dates will be posted on our Events Calendar.
Join us as we host our first Summer Skywatch at our new Research Center!
